We chose the name Sparc as it encapsulates the energy of our face-to-face meetings between our entrepreneurs leading to the spark of new ideas and such great collaborative work. It also reflects the dynamism of this region at the fulcrum of the Oxford to Cambridge Arc.
The aims of the network are:
- To further develop a networking culture for burgeoning knowledge-based, technology-led businesses and organisations within and beyond the Milton Keynes area.
- To facilitate and support face-to-face contacts and the building of working relationships between those attending events so that mutually beneficial results can be achieved.
- To link the entrepreneurial community within Milton Keynes to international communities of like minded individuals.
- For inward investors and companies to recognise Milton Keynes as an entrepreneurial centre within the Oxford to Cambridge Arc.
- To engage and update all interested communities in the development of the Milton Keynes Technology related projects.
